Why I Chose Chiropractic Care — and What I Want Patients to Know
Updated: Sep 30
By Dr. Garrett Witcher, D.C. | Beacon Chiropractic Health
When we created Beacon Chiropractic Health, the goal was simple: to build a place where patients feel heard, understand their care, and have a plan designed specifically for them.
Chiropractic care is about more than addressing back or neck pain. It’s about helping people move better, function better, and get back to doing the things they enjoy.
That philosophy is at the heart of how I approach every patient at Beacon Chiropractic Health.

Chiropractic Care Should Be Personal
No two patients walk through our doors with the exact same story.
One person may be dealing with lower back pain after sitting at a desk all day. Another may be an athlete trying to recover and return to training. Someone else may be experiencing neck pain, headaches, stiffness, or discomfort following an auto accident.
That’s why I don't believe chiropractic care should be one-size-fits-all.
At Beacon, we take the time to understand what you're experiencing, how it is affecting your daily life, and what you want to accomplish through care. From there, we can develop an individualized treatment plan based on your specific needs.
More Than Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments are an important part of what we do, but they aren't the only tool available.
Depending on the patient and their needs, care at Beacon Chiropractic Health may incorporate:
Chiropractic adjustments
Spinal decompression
Shockwave therapy
Therapeutic rehabilitation
Electrical stimulation
Instrument-assisted adjustments
Digital X-rays when clinically appropriate
Having multiple treatment options allows us to build a more personalized approach rather than trying to fit every patient into the same type of care.
Our Goal Is to Help You Move Forward
Pain and limited mobility can affect much more than your physical comfort. They can make it harder to work, exercise, sleep, spend time with family, or simply get through your normal routine.
Our goal is to help identify what may be contributing to your symptoms and create a plan that supports better movement, function, and recovery.
Just as importantly, I want patients to understand why we're recommending a particular treatment.
You should feel comfortable asking questions about your care. You should know what we're working toward. And you should feel like an active participant in the process.
What to Expect at Beacon Chiropractic Health
If you've never visited a chiropractor before, it's completely normal to have questions.
Your first visit is an opportunity for us to learn more about you. We'll discuss your health history, current symptoms, concerns, and goals. We'll perform an appropriate examination and determine whether additional evaluation, including digital X-rays when clinically indicated, may be helpful.
From there, we'll talk through our findings and recommendations.
There is no pressure to fit into a predetermined treatment plan. The focus is on determining what makes sense for you.
